The well known Shai Hills Resource Reserve where baboons, green monkeys and bushbocks can be found, lies close to Stone Lodge. In addition, the area around Stone Lodge is a bird-watching paradise. Species such as wahlberg’s eagle, green turaco, striped kingfisher, rock martin, cliff chat can only be found in this part of Ghana.
